Lauren began her yoga and meditation practice in 1996. She completed her first yoga training program in 2009. In 2014, she became a full-time instructor and personal trainer, working with individual clients, small groups, and classes at various locations in Maryland.

In her classes, Lauren creates space for observation and discovery in the body, mind, and breath while drawing from a number of techniques and philosophical traditions. She encourages joy in movement, compassion for one’s self and others, and is commited to making yoga accessible for all.

She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an eRYT200 and a Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). In addition, she holds personal training, orthopedic exercise, and strength training certifications through American Council on Exercise. She is continuing her yoga education at Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver, British Columbia, specializing in gentle and therapeutic yoga, anatomy and physiology, yin, yoga philosophy, and meditation.

Lauren is the Program Manager at Whole Yoga Healthcare in Odenton, Maryland, where she teaches weekly and works with private clients. She also teaches yoga and fitness classes, and trains clients at Elkridge Athletic Club in Elkridge, Maryland.
